Conflict between Tippmann and BT Designs settled

BT Paintball have published a press release yesterday, announcing that lawsuit between BT Paintball, Ben Tippmann and Tippmann Sports has been settled.

Tippmann Sports initiated the lawsuit against BT Paintball and Ben Tippmann in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, Fort Wayne Division in 2004. BT Paintball and Ben Tippmann asserted a number of counterclaims against Tippmann Sports in response.

The parties have agreed to take measures to avoid any future trademark conflicts in the marketplace.

The press release stresses that “TIPMMANN is a trademark of Tippmann Sports, LLC and BT Paintball is a trademark of BT Paintball Designs Inc”.
